Pre-Gig Feeling: Hope I don't blow it, fidgety , yet strangely relaxed because after all, it's too damn late to do anything about it. Hope the battery in my tuner isn't dead.
Favourite Meal: Tan Tan Noodle Soup, Dai Ching Bean Curd, Bean and Cheese Burrito, Veggie Lasagna from Sunrise Pizza, Fries with Chipotle Mayo Dip, Nachos, Ice Cold Beer, half Pack of Rolaids (because eating that combo in a single week is stupid, let alone all at once).
Favorite Ice Cream Flavor: Chocolate and Peanut Butter
Greatest Music Moment: Playing a sold-out Commodore. Sure, we were just the opening act and sure- many many plastic cups were thrown at me (and only me, not the rest of the band) but that sea of bobbing heads was really something. Also- Cadaver Dogs at the El Dorado. It was a sad occasion (a wake) and it degenerated into a live band Ramones-aoke and I slipped and fell on my ass, but it was a helluva night and Eddy would have loved it.
Most Painful Music Moment: Fretting/noodling/chording hand slammed in van door, bone broken, two weeks left on tour. That's Rock & Roll!
Funny Music Memory: Farting on-stage in Ottawa. After a couple weeks of truck stop food. Gassed out the band, the front row took a couple steps back. Face beet-red under Alice Cooper-ish make up. I admitted to dealing it later. Priceless.
Last Vacation: Manning Park 2008- beautiful scenery, warm water, friendly gophers, bagels and coffee made on campfire, not a drop of rain (for once!). Mmm- heaven.
Most Memorable Gig:1. the time I saw the Ramones 2. the other time I saw the Ramones.
